Terms and Conditions
Last updated 20 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-20
These terms apply to the ProGig website and mobile application operated by BFYAI IT SOLUTIONS PVT LTD. Please read them before creating an account or signing in.
Your account and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. If you act for a company or other organisation, you must have authority to bind it. Provide accurate account, profile, verification and billing information, keep it current, and protect your sign-in credentials.
Do not impersonate another person, create misleading profiles, share another person's identity documents, or use an account to evade a suspension. Report suspected unauthorised access to hello@bfyai.in.
What ProGig provides
ProGig helps clients, independent freelancers and service companies discover one another, exchange proposals, record agreements, communicate and track projects. Project partners remain responsible for their own services, delivery, statutory obligations and contracts. ProGig is not the employer of freelancers and does not guarantee work, earnings, suitability or a successful outcome.
Recommendations and verification status are aids to your own assessment. Manual verification of submitted information is not a certification of professional skill or a guarantee against fraud.
Verification and acceptable use
Freelancers and service companies must complete the required information and document review before taking new projects. ProGig may request corrections or further evidence, reject a submission, or suspend access where information is misleading or platform rules are violated.
Do not upload Aadhaar documents, passwords, payment-card credentials or unnecessary sensitive information. Do not use ProGig for unlawful services, harassment, discrimination, fraud, spam, malware, intellectual-property infringement or unauthorised access to another person's data.
Agreements and delivery
Before work begins, both partners should review the scope, project value, deliverables, planned dates, milestones, payment terms and platform fees, then sign the project agreement. Record changes through the available agreement workflow; a chat message does not automatically amend signed terms.
Partners should keep actual start dates, progress, delivery evidence and acceptance records accurate. Their agreement should address ownership of deliverables, confidentiality, revisions, cancellation and disputes. These terms do not transfer ownership of a partner's work to ProGig.
Platform fees and project payments
For new agreements under this version, the freelancer platform fee is 6% of project value and the client platform fee is 3%. Each fee includes 18% GST, rather than adding GST on top. Fees are disclosed during the agreement process and become payable when both partners sign. Separate platform-fee invoices are issued for the respective parties. Previously signed agreement terms are not retrospectively changed by this notice.
Project-service payments are distinct from ProGig's platform fees. Partners currently arrange timeline-based or delivery-based payments directly and record them in ProGig, including receipt confirmation. ProGig does not currently hold project money in escrow or automatically pay freelancers. A recorded payment status is not a bank settlement guarantee.
Any separately purchased subscription is governed by the price, duration, renewal and cancellation details shown before purchase. See the Cancellation and Refund Policy for requests concerning platform charges.
Content, confidentiality and AI tools
You retain rights in your content. You authorise ProGig and its service providers to store, process and display it as needed to operate the features you use, including showing enabled profiles to eligible marketplace users and sharing project materials with authorised participants.
Only upload information you are entitled to share. Protect your partner's confidential information and do not publish their documents or record meetings without appropriate permission. AI-generated parsing, suggestions and analysis may contain errors; review them before relying on or sharing them. Optional AI processing is subject to its separate in-feature notice and consent.
Access restrictions and account closure
ProGig may restrict or suspend accounts to address suspected fraud, safety issues, misuse or legal obligations. Blacklisted accounts cannot sign in. Contact hello@bfyai.in to ask for a review or to request account closure.
Closing an account or uninstalling the app does not cancel signed project obligations or erase records that must be retained for invoices, disputes, security or legal requirements. See the Privacy Policy for data requests and retention.
Service limitations, disputes and changes
ProGig takes reasonable steps to operate the service, but availability, third-party services and user-provided information may be interrupted or inaccurate. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Raise project disagreements with your partner using the agreement and project records. You may also report platform issues to hello@bfyai.in. These terms are governed by applicable Indian law and do not remove your right to approach a competent court, consumer forum or other statutory authority.
Material updates will be published with a new version and presented for acceptance at sign-in. Contact details are available in Contact and Support.
