Cancellation and Refund Policy
Last updated 20 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-20
Project-service payments, ProGig platform fees and subscriptions are different charges. This policy explains how to raise a cancellation or refund request without changing your signed project agreement.
Project cancellation and service payments
Clients and freelancers should agree cancellation, completed-work and refund terms before signing. Record a cancellation or revised scope with your partner. Cancelling a project does not automatically refund a direct payment or reverse a payment record.
Project-service payments are currently made directly between partners. The recipient and payer must arrange any agreed return of those funds. ProGig cannot automatically reverse money it did not collect.
ProGig platform fees
Each party's fee is disclosed before signing and becomes payable after both partners sign. A project cancellation does not by itself establish that a platform fee has been refunded.
For a duplicate charge, incorrect amount, failed service or another refund concern, contact hello@bfyai.in. Include your account email, project or order reference, amount, date and reason. We will review the transaction and circumstances and explain the decision. Statutory refund rights remain unaffected.
Subscriptions and payment processing
Review the subscription's purchase and renewal terms before paying. Cancelling future renewal and requesting a refund for a past payment are separate actions. Use the available subscription controls or contact hello@bfyai.in for assistance.
An approved refund for a charge collected by ProGig is processed through the applicable payment provider to the original payment method where supported. Bank and provider processing times vary. A submitted request or project status change is not confirmation of an approved or settled refund. Do not share card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs or passwords with support.
