Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 2026
These terms govern your use of ProGig — the profile and resume builder (Pro) and the freelance marketplace and project tracking (Gig). By using ProGig you agree to them.
1. Using ProGig
You may use ProGig to build, store, and export your professional profile and resume, and — if you choose — to find freelance gigs and manage projects. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the freelance features.
2. Accounts
Building a profile works offline without an account. An account is only needed for web access or to participate as a freelancer. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
3. Your content
Your profile, resume, and project content are yours. You retain all rights to them. You grant ProGig only the limited permission needed to provide the service you've asked for — for example, to store your encrypted profile when you enable web access, or to show the parts of your profile you choose to publish to clients. You are responsible for ensuring your content is accurate and that you have the right to share it.
4. Freelancers & clients
ProGig connects freelancers and clients and provides tools to scope, track, and deliver work. The agreement for any gig — scope, rate, timeline, and deliverables — is between the freelancer and the client. ProGig is not a party to that agreement and does not employ freelancers or guarantee work, hires, quality, or outcomes.
5. Payments
Payments for gigs are handled outside of ProGig, directly between the freelancer and the client using whatever method they agree on. ProGig does not process, escrow, hold, or guarantee any payment, and is not responsible for disputes over payment. We recommend both sides agree terms clearly before work begins.
6. Acceptable use
- Don't misrepresent your identity, skills, or experience.
- Don't post unlawful, infringing, harmful, or misleading content.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service.
- Don't use ProGig to harass others or to circumvent its intended use.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
7. Disclaimers & liability
ProGig is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for the conduct of freelancers or clients, or for agreements and payments made between them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms as ProGig evolves. We'll update the date above, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
